Marvogs: A warrior race who uses magic to enhance themselves and the world they inhabit, they can heal others as well as the environment when Marvogs work in tandem. As their goal is to become one with nature, technology is generally seen as a sinful indulgence, unless there is not a mystical alternative at hand..

Although a fairly aggressive culture, due to their unique ability to mend entire ecosystems - the Marvogs were invited to establish a colony on Earth. Their ability to heal is vital to stop Gaia from dying - which in turn would extinguish the connection the planet holds with the Core, and that would then tip the domino for the rest of the Universe to follow the same fate. As the Marvogs can uniquely help prevent that chain of events from happening - they enjoy an outsized influence with the factions of Earth.

As for the Marvogs, they wish to use their newly acquired access to the Core to reconnect with their lost gods. Marvogs worship giant Gods known as Crons -  an advanced race that instilled in the Marvogs the ethic that technology without the balance of nature is a death sentence. The Marvogs end goal is to summon their Crons out of the dimension they had been banished to.

Marvogs that are seen in the intergalactic community are almost always colonials - those that immigrated from their homeworld to various Earth holdings, or their subsequent offspring. Marvogs from the homeworld find travel distasteful, as they find most species of the interstellar community to be over-reliant on technology. Colonials, however, are more open minded when it comes to exceptions for the use of technology, after all, some legends and myths of their faiths speak of giant constructs built to honor and defend the gods.
